I thought I'd give an overview of what my plan for the game is without going too much into spoiler territory.

The overall story is about Rick trying to get back to his ship before it leaves without him. To do so he needs to win a competition but since he's got no chance of doing so honestly he'll just have to do so using any means available to him. The competition has four categories and each category it's own judge. Once all four judges are convinced, the winner is announced and Rick can go back to the ship.

This feels like a pretty easy concept for players to grasp and it's nice to have four different "quests" at the same time so If you get stuck on one, you can jump on to another. It's also nice because I can easily make the four main quests more complex by adding more intervening puzzles. The plan now is to make the four quests with the necessary locations and characters and go from there.

By doing so I always know that I have a finished game no matter what. It might be a short game but a game nonetheless. I would like to add some extra locations, puzzles and characters to flesh out the game and the world a bit more but we'll se how this whole thing pans out.

Well, that's it for now. Damn, not even a joke or anything. What a rip off! I must be tired or something. Looking at all this text must have made me tired, that's it. I haven't lost my sense of humor - I'm just tired from looking at all this dry, dull text. Phew! Now I'm just rambling, I must be delirious from being so tired. You know, from looking at all of this text.
